The Vista - Banquet Policies

Smoking
Smoking is not permitted inside the building. Guests may smoke outside the banquet hall in the designated areas.

Deposits
A non refundable deposit of $1000.00 and a signed basic wedding package contract is required in order to secure a date for your reception. The full deposit will be applied to the final bill. Deposits may be made in cash, check, money order or credit card. Any additions or changes to the basic wedding package contract will be on a separate contract and signed by the wedding coordinator.

Pricing
Weddings booked over one year in advance will be subject to pricing changes. These changes will not exceed 10% per item.

Sales Tax and Service Charge
Each wedding package will be subject to a New York State Sales Tax of 7.25% and a service charge of 19% being added to the total package.

Room Rental
All receptions are based on five (5) hours of room use. A five hundred dollar room rental charge is required. Doors will be opened to your guests at the specified begin time. No one will be allowed in the banquet room before this time. In the event of early arrivals, guests will be directed to our lounge or patio area. Receptions going over five hours will be charged accordingly at $250.00 per hour. Reserved seating is mandatory for all receptions. Maximum seating capacity 250.

Decorating
Decorating of the banquet room is subject to the approval of the General Manager.

Floor Plan, Menu Choices, Linen Colors
Floor plan must be submitted to the Wedding Coordinator ten days prior to the scheduled event. Floor plans may be modified at the discretion of the Management. At this time you will need to finalize Hors D'oeuvre and Entree selections. Linen color choices will also be chosen at this time.

Attendance Guarantee, Final Payment
Saturday weddings require a minimum of 150 guests. If less then 150 are given as a final count, you will be billed for the required number of guests. A final count of guest must be given to the Wedding Coordinator by noon no later then three days prior to the scheduled event. This is the count you will be billed for. Final Payment is due at this time. Final payment must be made by cash, certified check or credit card. Personal checks will not be accepted.

Alcohol Consumption
As per New York State Law, only those 21 years of age or older will be permitted to consume alcohol on these premises; the management reserves the right to require a valid drivers license as proof of age. Furthermore, the management reserves the right to terminate the consumption of alcoholic beverages on an individual basis. Bottles of wine or champagne are not allowed on guest tables. "Shots" will not be served .Beverage glasses are not permitted on the dance floor.

Food and Beverage
Consumption of food and beverages are on the Vista's premises only. Take out containers are not available.

Damage
Any damage incurred during the reception by any guests will be the responsibility of the person hosting the reception. Use of golf carts is prohibited due to play being held up, liability and damage to the course.

The Vista is not liable for any lost or stolen items.
