Big Upgrades Are Underway at Van Patten!

We’re putting in a lot of work this fall so the course plays better than ever next season. Here’s what’s happening.

A brand new irrigation system
We’re replacing our irrigation system with a new one built for better watering across the whole course. That means:

• More efficient water use and less waste

• Better coverage for healthier turf from tee to green

• New equipment that’s more reliable

• Easier watering management and scheduling

• Fewer repairs and lower costs over the long run

A completely refreshed Hole 3

• White tees: We expanded the white tee box to triple its original size.

• Left side: We cleared it out and grassed it in, which opens up visibility and improves air flow.

• Fairway: We added drainage and fixed the compressed areas so it plays firmer and more consistent.

• Green: It’s been fully resodded, with new drainage underneath.
