Sponsorship: The sponsor is Country Club Golf, LLC (Doing business as “Van Patten Golf Club”), located at 924 Main Street, Clifton Park, NY 12065. Sponsor will conduct The Van Patten Tournament Series as described in these Official Rules.
Tournament Date & Entry Period:
The Van Patten Tournament Series will take place on the following dates:
• Saturday, June 24 - Registration Deadline: June 23 at 6:00 PM
• Saturday, July 15 - Registration Deadline: July 14 at 6:00 PM
• Saturday, August 26 - Registration Deadline: August 25 at 6:00 PM
• Sunday, September 10 - Registration Deadline: September 9 at 6:00 PM
Skills Contest: THE VAN PATTEN TOURNAMENT SERIES IS A SKILLS-BASED CONTEST; NOT A GAME OF CHANCE. NO ELEMENT OF CHANCE IS INVOLVED.
Rain Date: There will be no rain date for The Van Patten Tournament Series. The Van Patten Tournament Series will proceed in the event of rain. In the event of severe weather that may threaten the safety of players or staff, the tournament will be delayed until safe playing conditions are established. All entries are non-refundable.
Eligibility: The Van Patten Tournament Series is open to legal residents of the United States of America. Entrants must be 18 years or older as of their date of entry in this promotion in order to qualify. The Van Patten Tournament Series is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations and void where prohibited by law.
Agreement to Rules: By entering The Van Patten Tournament Series, the Entrant (“You”) agrees to abide by the Sponsor's Official Rules and decisions, which are fully and unconditionally binding in all respects. The Sponsor reserves the right to refuse, withdraw, or disqualify any entry at any time at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. By entering The Van Patten Tournament Series, You acknowledge that You are eligible to participate based on eligibility requirements explained in the Official Rules. You also agree to accept the decisions of the Sponsor as final and binding as it relates to the content of The Van Patten Tournament Series.

2-PLAYER SCRAMBLE RULES:

Teams of Two will compete over a designated 18 holes of golf

Each player plays their own ball off the tee

Each player plays from the teeing area on each hole, one of the tee shots is selected and all the players play their second shots from that spot. One of the second shots is then selected, and all players play their third shots from that spot, and so on until the ball is holed.

The ball may be played within one club length no closer to the hole. The ball must remain in the same condition. (Ex. Rough, Fairway, Fringe, Green)

Cannot play from out of bounds.

Maximum Cost to Participant:
Public: $100 per player or $200 per team.
Member: $40 Per Player or $80 Per Team
Prizes: Winners will be determined upon the conclusion of each event.
1st Place – Each player will receive a $200 Pro Shop Gift Card. One (1) Foursome golf pass will be awarded to the team.
2nd Place – One (1) Foursome golf pass will be awarded to the team.
3rd Place – One (1) Foursome golf pass will be awarded to the team.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
The winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable taxes related to the prize.
The prize(s) shall be determined solely by the Sponsor. The prize is non-transferable. The Winner shall not transfer assignment of the prize to others nor shall the Winner request the cash equivalent or prize substitution. By accepting the prize, the selected Winner grants permission for the Sponsor to use the Winner’s likeness, entry, and name for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation unless prohibited by law.
Rights Granted by You: By entering The Van Patten Tournament Series, You understand and agree that the Sponsor, any individual acting on the Sponsor’s behalf, and the licensees' successors, and assigns of the Sponsor shall where permitted by law, have the right to print, publish, broadcast, distribute and use in any media known now or hereafter developed, in perpetuity, worldwide, and without limitation, your submission, name, photo, portrait, voice, likeness, image, statements about The Van Patten Tournament Series, and your biographical information for news, publicity, advertising, promotional purposes, trade, information, and public relations without any further notice, review, consent, compensation, or remuneration.
Terms & Conditions: In its sole discretion, the Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, cancel, or terminate The Van Patten Tournament Series should non-authorized human intervention, a bug or virus, fraud, weather, or other causes beyond the Sponsor’s control, impact or corrupt the security, fairness, proper conduct, or administration of The Van Patten Tournament Series.
Limitation of Liability: Your entry into The Van Patten Tournament Series constitutes Your agreement to release and hold harmless the Sponsor and its subsidiaries, representatives, affiliates, partners, advertising and promotion agencies, successors, agents, assigns, directors, employees, and officers against and from any and all claims, liability, illness, injury, death, litigation, loss, or damages that may occur, directly or indirectly from participation in The Van Patten Tournament Series and/or the:
1) Winner accepting, possessing, using, or misusing of any awarded prize or any portion thereof;
2) any type of technical failure;
3) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, phone, or Internet service; 4) unauthorized intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; 5) electronic error or human error in the Promotion administration or the processing of entries.
Disputes: THIS VAN PATTEN TOURNAMENT SERIES IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND THE STATE OF NEW YORK, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. The Entrant agrees, as a condition of participating in this promotion, that if any disputes cannot be resolved between the Entrant and the Sponsor, and if causes of action arise out of or are connected with The Van Patten Tournament Series, they shall be individually resolved exclusively before a court located in New York State having jurisdiction, without resorting to any form of class action. Under no circumstances in any such dispute shall the participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering The Van Patten Tournament Series). The participant waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
